Hello Hosty

Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Hello Hosty website, platform, software, and related services. By accessing or using Hello Hosty, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

1. About Us

Hello Hosty is a software platform providing tools and services for short term rental hosts and property managers, including but not limited to AI assisted guest messaging, automation tools, and digital guidebooks.

Hello Hosty is operated under the laws of England and Wales.

2. Definitions

  • We, us, our refers to Hello Hosty

  • You, your, user refers to any individual or business using our services

  • Platform means the Hello Hosty website, applications, and software

  • Free Trial means the 14 day trial period offered without payment

  • Subscription means a paid recurring plan based on the number of properties managed

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement to use Hello Hosty. If you use the platform on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.

4. Free Trial

We offer a 14 day free trial without requiring credit card details at sign up.

During the Free Trial:

  • You may access the platform and its features as made available at that time

  • We may create digital guidebooks for your properties at no cost

Digital guidebooks created during the Free Trial are yours to keep, even if you choose not to subscribe after the trial ends.

There are no obligations or charges during the Free Trial period.

5. End of Free Trial and Subscription

At the end of the 14 day Free Trial:

  • You will be prompted to enter valid payment details

  • You must select a subscription plan to continue using paid features

If you do not enter payment details, access to subscription based features may be limited or suspended.

Subscription pricing:

  • Is charged on a monthly recurring basis

  • Is based on the number of properties connected to your account

  • Is displayed clearly on our website under the Pricing section

We reserve the right to update pricing with reasonable notice.

6. Payments and Billing

All subscription fees are payable in advance on a monthly basis.

By providing payment details, you authorise us to charge the applicable subscription fees automatically until you cancel.

Fees are non refundable except where required by law.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account dashboard.

Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period

  • No further charges will be made

  • You will retain access to any digital guidebooks created

8. Use of the Platform

You agree to use Hello Hosty lawfully and not to:

  • Misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform

  • Upload unlawful, harmful, or misleading content

  • Use the platform in a way that infringes the rights of others

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached.

9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Hello Hosty platform, including software, branding, text, and design, belong to Hello Hosty or its licensors.

You are granted a limited, non exclusive, non transferable licence to use the platform while you have an active account.

Digital guidebooks created for you are licensed to you for your own business use.

10. Data and Privacy

Your use of Hello Hosty is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, store, and process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and applicable data protection laws.

You are responsible for ensuring that any guest or property data you upload is lawfully obtained and used.

11. Service Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

We may:

  • Perform maintenance

  • Update features

  • Temporarily suspend access for technical or security reasons

We are not liable for downtime beyond what is required by law.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses

  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the 12 months prior to any claim

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or other liabilities that cannot be excluded under English law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Hello Hosty harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your misuse of the platform or breach of these Terms.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Where changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice via the website or email. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
